Kids playing on tanks

Before leaving for Serbia, I talked with a friend of mine.  I asked him what he thought Serbia would look like and what I should take pictures of.  He said he imagines Serbia as a war zone wasteland with rusting tanks and planes everywhere and with kids playing on those.  I told him that it’s crazy to think so, but he insisted that there are kids playing on tanks in Serbia.  With that in mind, I flew out and spent some quality time touring.  Later on, I went to a war museum…

There were kids playing on tanks!  I wanted the upper hand in the situation, so I sent him a text message saying that I had really found and taken pictures of kids on tanks.  He demanded that I send those to him instantly, but I was at a restaurant and said I’d get to it later.  I have kept him waiting for about a week, and now finally I went to an Apple store at a mall and uploaded the pics from my card.  I tried other card readers, but they couldn’t read my 16GB card.  The employees at the store didn’t mind at all after I complimented the Macs saying that they’re the only computers that had proper card readers.

The point of the story is that if you find yourself in another country and have thousands of pictures to upload, upload two that have nothing to do with anything and make a whole new blog post just about them.  And without further rambling, here are the pictures of children playing on tanks in Serbia:

Thanks! Yes, that’s the idea. I still have memories of visiting the park and the museum as a kid. It’s a very nice place. Just wait until you see the pictures!

My theory is confirmed. Serbia is a warzone and tanks are the only toys for kids.
